PDFDoco ("we," "us," or "our") provides online PDF editing, invoice generation, and related document tools (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (together, this "Policy") explains how we handle information when you use the Service and the terms that govern your use of it. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Your PDF files never leave your device and are processed entirely in your browser.
Every editing, merging, splitting, compressing, and conversion tool on this Service runs locally in your web browser using JavaScript. When you upload a file into one of our tools, that file is read directly by your browser and is never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers. We have no ability to view, access, or recover the contents of any PDF, image, or document you work with on this Service, because that data is never sent to us in the first place.
Because file processing happens entirely in your browser, the information we collect is limited to the following:
We use browser local storage to remember your daily usage count and plan status, as described above. We and our third-party partners (including advertising and analytics providers) may also use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to recognize your browser, remember preferences, and collect usage statistics.
This Service displays advertisements served by Google and its advertising partners, including through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this Service. Google's use of advertising cookies (historically including the DoubleClick DART cookie, now consolidated under Google's unified advertising cookie policy) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of the use of personalized advertising cookies by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may be shown a separate cookie consent notice in order to comply with applicable consent requirements before any non-essential advertising or analytics cookie is set.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Because your files are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to our servers, there is no server-side file storage for us to secure in the first place. Any limited data we do collect (such as contact form submissions or payment metadata handled by our payment processor) is protected using industry-standard security practices.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area or the CCPA in California) to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you. Since file content is never transmitted to us, these rights primarily concern the limited contact and payment information described above. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party sites.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to process, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.
The 7-Day Pass is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that grants unlimited access to the Service for 7 calendar days from the time of purchase. The Pro plan is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and no partial-month refund is provided for the remaining period unless required by applicable law. Refund requests may be submitted through our Contact page and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any specific purpose, including legal or regulatory compliance (such as customs documentation accuracy). To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
If you have questions about this Policy, please reach out through our Contact page.
